iTruss Solutions initially began as an R&D initative in 2005 to create a product and service solution for small and mid-sized business (SMB) which leveraged the methodologies of highly engineered infrasturcture solutions used by large corportations to drive successful, stable and highly scalable business operations. The result is that we have bottled these "best business practices" into a managed SMB platform, that we call an iTruss Groundwork.
The genesis of the iTruss Groundwork Technology was born out of several projects for a Fortune 500 company that began back in 1999. Mark Riehm (CTO of iTruss Solutions) was a senior member of a team of technologists at a large, geographically dispersed corporation with manufacturing facilities and offices in 20 states and an employee base in excess of 3500 users of IT services. Mr. Riehm’s task was to develop scaled efficiencies with IT throughout the corporation to lower operating costs and mitigate business risk.
The project culminated in late 2004 with a designed, engineered and fully implemented infrastructure and management solution. The success of this project led to the creation of the foundation stones for the iTruss Groundwork upon which our R&D effort began.
